Celigo Amazon Settlement Payout Account

If you are planning to use Celigo’s settlement flows to balance your Amazon payouts then it’s important to create your Amazon holding G/L account with the type set to Bank. This is required for the Celigo flows to run correctly.

The holding account is essentially an account that tracks money owed you by Amazon that hasn’t yet been paid out. It’s not technically a bank account but it is used to track the balance of all sales, refunds, expenses, and reserve amount. You will be paid every two weeks by Amazon and the resulting journal entries will transfer the payout amount from Amazon Holding to your Bank’s Cash operating account.
